Abstract
The Spanish 19th century is a jumpy century where the productive and social forces funtioned without the need to depend on or obey an outdated control system that was not in accordance with the new ways of thinking. All of this will unleash endless revolutions and ruptures that do not really chage anything. In addition, we must not forget the theological tensión within a predominantly conservative an combative Church. The War of Independence will leave a less traditional and current Spain whose greatest exponent will be the Court of Cadiz and the Constitution of 1812 that will not fit in with the absolute monarchy that Fernando VII wanted to implement. This situation will not only manifest itself at the national level, but it will also be present in the municipal acts of towns such as Cehegín
