Journal Title: Український журнал дерматології, венерології, косметології - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
Objective — Compare the effectiveness of dermoscopy and teledermoscopy of skin neoplasms through melanocytic nevi and skin melanoma. Materials and methods. For this study 50 skin neoplasms with a previous diagnosis of melanocytic nevi and 27 skin neoplasms with a previous diagnosis of melanoma were selected. The results of teledermoscopic and dermoscopic structure were compared. Verification was done with pathological examination. Results and discussion. In the study of skin tumors with a previous diagnosis of melanocytic nevi, the discrepancies between dermoscopic and teledermoscopic examinations were observed among the globules and vascular pattern. In the study of skin tumors with a previous diagnosis of melanoma, the discrepancies between the results of dermoscopic and teledermoscopic examinations were observed among the crystalline structures, atypical dots and globules, bluewhite veil, regression structures and vascular pattern. Conclusions. Different types of dermoscopes do not replace each other, but supplement. Teledermoscopy is an effective method of skin tumour diagnostics, which allows you to obtain preliminary diagnosis at a distance.
