COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF HISTOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF INTESTINAL EPITHELIUM OF STURGEON SPECIES AND THEIR HYBRIDS

Abstract
The histologic structure of the intestinal epithelium of four species of sturgeon and their hybrids has been studied. The common characteristics of intestinal epithelium of all investigated sturgeons and their hybrids have been stated. The specific features in the structure of the intestinal epithelium of the parental species, which were typical for the hybrid forms as well, have been found. The depend-ence of the structure of the intestinal epithelium and the feeding of the investigated specimens has been illustrated.
