Abstract
The article deals with the treatment of acute rhinosinusitis in children. Data from the studies comparing the effectiveness of the herbal drug with combined effect Sinupret® and synthetic anti-inflammatory agent fenspiride in the treatment of children with acute non-purulent rhinosinusitis are provided. It was found that the preparation with synergistic action Sinupret® and fenspiride are similar in efficacy and are effective agents in the treatment of children with acute non-purulent rhinosinusitis. Sinupret® in monotherapy is recommended for all clinical variants of acute non-purulent rhinosinusitis in children aged over 2 years. Applying this approach prevents polypharmacy with all its negative consequences.
