Comparative evaluation of basic functional indicators of myocardium of the left ventricle in the case of patients having acute coronary syndrome after endovascular correction under conditions of assist blood circulation
Journal Title: Медицинский альманах - Year 2016, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
The purpose of the present study is the left ventricular function estimation after PCI with- and without coronary sinus retroperfusion during the PCI in ACS patients. The intervention results of 24 ACS patients were analyzed. The Group 1 included 12 (50,0%) patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction. The Group 2 consisted of 12 (50,0%) individuals with non ST-elevation myocardial infarction. Both groups were divided into 2 subgroups: A – patients with retroperfusion support; B – patients without retroperfusion support. The echocardiography parameters of myocardial function were evaluated during the 12-monthes follow-up. After 12-monthes 7 (58%) patients in the Group 1 had normal myocardial function (6 patients in the subgroup А; 1 patient in the subgroup B). After 12-monthes 6 (50%) patients in the Group 2 had normal myocardial function (4 patients in the subgroup А; 2 patients in the subgroup B). Diastolic function and local contractility during the 12-monthes follow-up was significant worse in the subgroup B patients compared to the retroperfusion patients. Temporary selective myocardial retroperfusion is an effective method supported the coronary flow support during the high risk angioplasty in ACS patients. The retroperfusion technology facilitates better myocardial function recovery.
Application of diode laser (0.8 mcm) in the regime of microphotocoagulation and laser coagulation of high density for the tratment of diabetic macular edema
The modern standard of treatment of clinically significant diabetic macular edema is macular laser photocoagulation was suggested in the reports of the Early Treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy Study (ETDRS, 1985-1990). Su...
