Comparing the life quality of Shahed and non Shahed students in Esfahan city Remarks: Shahed refers to those persons who have been martyrized in imposed war of Iraq against Iran

Abstract

The aim of present study was to compare the life quality of Shahed and non Shahed students in Esfahan city. For this purpose 100 Shahed students referring to Shahed headquarter and also 100 non- Shahed students who were adapted to Shahed students in terms of age, sex and educational level were selected randomly among all Esfahan city universities (public, Open University, non-beneficial, applied university of technology). Study method was of descriptive and reasoning- comparative type and study tool consisted of life quality inventory of WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION. The results showed that Shahed and non Shahed students had similar life quality (P<0.05). Also Shahed and non Shahed students were investigated by questionnaire subscales (physical health and social functioning) that no significant difference was observed. (P< 0.05) but life quality of two groups showed significant difference in terms of gender (P< 0.05). Also no significant difference was seen between life qualities of Shahed and non Shahed students (P< 0.05).
