Comparison of Transmission Capacities of Two Regulation Systems: Lateral and in-phase Control Transformers
Journal Title: Acta Energetica - Year 2016, Vol 27, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper presents a comparison of regulation capabilities of lateral and in-phase control transformers in a selected node of a power system. Their regulation capabilities are presented, as well as cross-system exchange options.

Improving Power Quality in AC Supply Grids
This paper describes a digital and actual model of the UPQC (Unified Power Quality Conditioner) integrated system for power quality improvement. The UPQC’s design and its connection to an AC supply grid, 1-phase and 3-ph...
Study of Interdependence of Wind Generation Output and Potential PV Generation in the Area of ENERGA-OPERATOR SA
This paper presents the results of an analysis of the interdependence of wind generation output and photovoltaic generation potential in the ENERGA-OPERATOR SA grid. The first study of the interdependence of these two ty...
Laboratory Load Model Based on 150 kVA Power Frequency Con-verter and Simulink Real-Time – Concept, Implementation, Experiments
First section of the paper provides technical specification of laboratory load model basing on 150 kVA power frequency converter and Simulink Real-Time platform. Assumptions, as well as control algorithm structure is pre...
The use of Small Scale Inverters Working with Renewable Energy Sources in Order to Improve Voltage Quality in a Power Distribution Network
The paper presents the results of a research project aimed at the construction of a single-phase inverter designed to transfer power from renewable energy sources (RES) to an electric power system (EPS). The research con...
Laboratory Power System Model Designed for Testing Dynamic Processes
Identification tests of dynamic and transient processes which occur in a power system are usually based on simulation. Structures of systems used for simulation testing are built from simplified models of power system co...
