COMPETENCE APPROACH IN TEACHING DISCIPLINE «MEDICAL LAW» FOR MEDICAL STUDENTS

Abstract

The article investigates the essence of the implementation of competence approach in modern higher education. The article considers the definitions of "competency" and "competence". It reveals the need for formation of students’ key competencies. Also it determines values and objectives of the personality-oriented learning process. An attemp to identify key competencies which can be formed during the study of discipline «Medical Law» was made.
