Competence of Workers on the Labour Market of Ageing Societies in Poland and Germany

Abstract
The purpose of this article is to answer the question, whether it is possible in an aging society, which is still actively involved on the labor market, to slow the aging process of knowledge and adapt to the changing expectations of the labor market. Europe is paying more and more attention to the problem of population aging and the related changes, not only on the demographic, but also on the mental level. Poland and Germany are similar in some demographic tendencies, so it was decided to compare these two countries. The presentation of the problem is based on the analysis of documents, various literary sources, research of solutions in the field of new technologies.
