Abstract
The pedagogical possibilities for developing students' independent work activities based on a competency-based approach have been improved based on the clarification of the stages of didactic organizational-managerial, psychological-pedagogical and cultural approaches, the organization of independent activity, and the use of innovative technologies in the information educational environment.
