COMPETENCY-BASED TASKS IN MATHEMATICS LESSONS AS A WAY OF DEVELOPMENT OF COGNITIVE ACTIVITY

Abstract

The paper proposed some guidelines for the formation of a hierarchical system of competencies of students in secondary schools in the study of mathematics. Organization of educational process in conditions of competence approach aimed at the realization of practice-based learning of mathematics in high school. Examples of some practice-focused mathematical tasks that provide the development of the activity approach, aimed at development of abilities and skills, application of acquired knowledge in practical situations, the search for ways of integration to socio-cultural and natural environment. Solving these problems contributes to the development of logical, critical and creative thinking pupils, the ability to clearly and convincingly articulate and Express their opinions. Gives the ability to perceive mathematics as a tool of natural Sciences.
