COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT IMPACT ON INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT: CONCLUSIONS FOR PUBLIC POLICY

Abstract

Introduction. Continuous creation of innovations is key development factor in the twenty-first century, and companies that are no longer innovative, cease to exist. Therefore, the current competition we offer to consider from the innovative point of view. Analysis of research of domestic and foreign scientists has showed, that competitive mechanisms as factors of innovation in terms of international environment require additional researches. Methods. The following research methods are used to address the goal of research: systematic, empirical, structural and functional, comparative, inductive, deductive. Results. Based on the analysis of innovation systems in several countries, we can conclude that in modern conditions competition with leading players in the global market without creating and continuous improvement of the national innovation system is impossible. Thus, the competition is proposed to be considered as a component (factor) of the innovation system development. Based on the foregoing we propose to consider the presence of competition in the tech market as a factor optimization at all stages of creation and implementation of high technologies. Perspectives. It is necessary to develop mechanisms for development of competitive relations in order to stimulate innovation processes in priority sectors of national economy in further researches.
