COMPETITIVENESS OF THE REGIONAL SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC SYSTEM: THEORETICAL ASPECTS AND METHOD OF ESTIMATION

Abstract
The article explored the issue of economic and organizational problems related to obtaining an integrated assessment of the competitiveness of enterprises (organizations). The problems of competitiveness management at the regional level and its territories and the rationale for the approach to the implementation of a comprehensive assessment of the region's competitiveness in the face of the Ukrainian economy crisis. Reveals the problem of determining how their own competitiveness and the competitive status of enterprises as part of a competitive strategy group, the object of regional complex. Shows the impact of regional policy on the competitiveness of the region, conditions of effectiveness of regional policy on competitiveness development. Defined set of criteria needed to assess the effectiveness of socio-economic systems. Impact of globalization on the level of competition of enterprises. Effective management in today's business (including at the regional level, megaregion level) is the need for more rapid decisions, time to study which is usually very limited. This can be attributed to the level of regions, the following factors determining the level of competitiveness of the region: the rapid growth rates of business activity, information overload, threatening a hostile takeover by foreign companies and multinational corporations, increased aggressiveness of competitors; growing global competition. The definitions of regional competitiveness, the competitiveness of the regional socio-economic system. The features of differentiation in assessing the level of competitiveness of the region. An approach to differentiate types (levels) to enhance the effectiveness of competitiveness justification control mechanism competitiveness regional socio-economic systems. The proposed system of local indicators for assessing the internal competitiveness of the region. Also invited to the assessment and the subsequent differentiation of the level of competitiveness of the region to implement an integrated indicator that emerged from the set of aggregate, reflecting a particular aspect of the potential socio-economic system.
