Compound Terminological Nomination and Its Connection with Mental Lexicon

Abstract
The article deals with issues of terminological nomination, application of the cognitive approach to studying nominative units, determinative substantive terms-compounds in particular. The article con- siders the notion of mental lexicon and possible storage of terms-compounds in it. Term formation is defined as the process and the result of the nominative cognitive activity.
