CONCEPT-ANALYSIS OF THE SYSTEM OF OIL & GAS STRATEGIC STOCKPILES OF THE NATIONAL ECONOMY

Abstract
The article provides an improvement to the concept of the balancing system of oil and gas strategic stockpiles (OGSS) of the national economy as an effective mean to strengthen economic security. The ideas about the main components of economic security considered from the point of view of the Methodological Recommendations on Calculation of the Level of Economic Security of Ukraine. The author analyses different approaches of definition and interpretation of energy security and proposes his own definition of energy security. International experience regarding methodological approaches to analyzing the level of energy security is described, taking into account the main indicators for oil, oil products and natural gas. Energy security dependencies’ from economic balancing of the strategic oil and gas stockpiles system is characterized.
