CONCEPT OF ECOLOGICAL METAL FORMING TECHNOLOGIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN PRODUCTION SYSTEMS

Journal Title: EMC Review: Časopis za ekonomiju i tržišne komunikacije - Year 2015, Vol 5, Issue 2

Abstract

All production technology and especially the metal forming technologies, due to the rapid development of the possibilities for numerical and physical modeling processes of forming, using systems like CAD / CAM for the design and manufacture of machines and tools, the use of new modern control systems, etc., have experienced rapid development. Development of metal forming technology (MFT) requires harmonization with the modern requirements for the introduction of the so-called. “Clean” manufacturing processes, which are based on: preserving basic resources and materials, optimal product design and production, reduce energy consumption and environmental protection. Using environmentally friendly materials and lubricants is only one aspect of a global approach in the area of MFT. The paper specifically discusses advanced TPO, harmonized with manufacturing operations by the principles of so-called shapingthe final form (Net shape forming), which enable signifi cant savings in material and environmentally friendly. However, due to the processing in terms of high operating conditions regime, it is necessary to fully provide the optimal impact of basic components of machining systems - machines, tools, materials and tribological conditions. For example, the use of modern lubricants with the so-called solid supporting layer, applying and removing requires the use of substances of concern from the aspect of environmental protection.
