Concept of network organization in Symbio Polska Inc. as an example of innovative management in the company

Abstract
The paper presents theoretical and practical aspects of an innovation process based on implementation of a new concept of management within a network organization. Special attention was paid to rganizational innovations, taking into account new concepts of supply chain management. The main part of paper focuses on describing an organizational innovation in Symbio Polska Inc., where coordinator undertakes a few core activities but manages all others through partnership and outsourcing contracts. The creation of that organizational business model enables the management of the whole supply chain, that provides the firm possibility of a quicker responsiveness for customers’ needs and it contributes to higher level of Symbio Inc. and network participants’ competitiveness. According to the concept of a network organization, the Symbio company takes over a role of a coordinator of processes and operations realized by participants of a created network. Apart from management, coordination and control functions, the Symbio company concentrates its operations on processes of creation and development of new products as well as their marketing. Moreover, taking into account a key role of raw materials quality allotted to processing into ecological food commodities, the company pays a lot of attention to processes of training and transferring knowledge to farmers cooperating with the company.
