Conceptions of organizational efficiency measurement - the use of the DEA method in evaluating the organization efficiency

Abstract
The paper presents nonparametric method for measuring the organizational efficiency - the DEA method (Data Envelopment Analysis). The paper describes the basic groups of methods to assess the organizational efficiency. The paper presents also the origins of organizational efficiency measurement according to the DEA method and the essence of the DEA. The practical example of calculating relative efficiency was supplemented by the picture with the best practice frontier. The paper also presents examples of the use of the DEA method in various fields of human activity. The literature review is the main research method used during the research. Research question was: how can the organization measure the organizational efficiency using nonparametric methods?
