CONCEPTUAL DIRECTIONS OF ENSURING THE DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATION-ORIENTED MACHINEBUILDING ENTERPRISES AS FUNCTIONAL ECONOMIC SYSTEMS

Abstract
Purpose. To define and substantiate the conceptual directions of ensuring the development of innovation-oriented machine building enterprises as the main subjects of introduction and realization of innovative transformations and functional economic systems of functioning and development of the economy. Methodology of research. During the research the methods of logical generalizations, the causation method were used to determine the conceptual directions of ensuring the development of innovation-oriented machine building enterprises; the method of statistical analysis and structuring - to identify the share of production, sales, profit and value added in the structure of economic performance of enterprises in the context of the third, fourth and fifth technological ways. Findings. There were substantiated: the significance of the use of machine building enterprises in the development of the economy and its real sector; the need to focus on the enterprises of the fifth and sixth technological ways with higher levels of profitability and value added; the development of enterprises in conditions of the neo-industrialization of the economy with the expanded and innovative reproduction of the potential and capacity of the machine building enterprises; the need to concentrate on the production of high-tech products with a real competitive advantage in exports and the choice of products for import substitution. Originality. The author proposed the conceptual directions of the development of innovation-oriented machine building enterprises, which are based on the development of enterprises in conditions of neo-industrialization of the economy, their use as functional economic systems, taking into account interdependent functioning with ecosystem subjects, orientation to the operation of enterprises of the fifth and sixth technological ways; the intensification of the production of high-tech products with the highest concentration on products with real competitive advantage and a phased introduction for import substitution. Practical value. The obtained results of the research allow developing the innovation-oriented machine building enterprises not isolated on the micro level, but taking into account their purpose regarding the formation of technological structure and economic-technological platform of the economy, provision and regulation of technical, techno-technological, innovative development of its real sector.
