CONCEPTUALIZATION OF GEO-ECONOMIC THREATS IN SMALL COUNTRIES WITH TRANSITION ECONOMY [CASE OF GEORGIA]

Abstract
The article examines the issues of geoeconomic security [GES] in small countries with a transitional economy in the example of Georgia. The author reveals the essence of the GES, clarifies certain terms. Further, the article identifies and systematized the main threats to Georgia's geo-economic security (internal and external perimeters) and a two-level system of basic indicators for assessing the state of geo-economic security of Georgia was developed. At the end of the article, conclusions and proposals were made to improve the level of geo-economic security of Georgia.
