Concerning the question of the research of the pedagogical views of Ivan Franko

Abstract
The article defines the separate stages of pedagogical studies of heritage of Ivan Franko. The author investigates the exploration of the civic politicians and the artists of the first two pre-Soviet periods: the lifetime score of the pedagogical ideas of Ivan Franko and the heritage in the interwar period. The article analyzes the Franko’s views concerning the educational problems in the context of his multifaceted creativity and the humanistic orientation of pedagogical ideas.
