Conditions of ferruginous-cherty formations origin (Middle-Dnieper mega-block)
Journal Title: Геофизический журнал - Year 2015, Vol 37, Issue 1
Abstract
The basic idea of existing hypotheses of ferruginous-cherty formations origin is an opinion that the form of iron presence depends on conditions at the depth of sediments accumulation. It has been shown in this paper with Middle-Dnieper mega-block of the Ukrainian Shield greenstone structures used as an example that composition of volcanogenic and ferruginous rocks is specified by the succession of physical-chemical interactions on the roof of the layer with partial melting.

Paleomagnetic and rock magnetic study of Lower Devonian red beds from Podolia: remagnetization problems
Results of paleomagnetic studies of red bed Early Devonian deposits of Podolia, which make the Dniester series (southwestern Ukraine, the Dniester basin) have been given. As a result two components of natural remanent ma...
Low-frequency scattering on a half-space filled with periodic fluid-solid medium with dipped layers
A low-frequency effective model has been developed for a medium with periodical liquid and solid layers with the slip between layers. It is shown that for an effective periodically n-layered medium with solid dipped laye...
