CONSIDERATIONS TO THE HISTO-ANATOMICAL STUDY OF THE CHAMOMILLA RECUTITA (L.) RAUSCHERT STRAIN TREATED WITH THIOPHANATE METHYL (TOPSIN M)

Abstract
The authors analyze the influence of the systemic fungicide Topsin M upon the hysto-anatomical structure of the stem of Chamomilla recutita (L.) Rauschert. The treatments, in two different concentrations (TM 0.1% and TM 0.4 %) have been applied three times, at intervals of 7 and 10 days; the first treatment have been administrated in vegetative stage, when the plants beard 16-27 nomofiles, with one or two ramifications of the stem (8,5-11,7 cm length). The cross sections, at three different levels of the stem, principal and secondary braches, showed a stimulative reaction of the tissues under the action of the fungicide with „cytokinin hormone effect type”. The modifications have been more evident in the primary branches, which were forming during the treatment, the effect of the fungicide being in inverse ratio to tissue differentiation degree and organ development.
