CONSTITUTIONAL FRAMEWORK OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN UKRAINE AND THE BALTIC COUNTRIES

Abstract
The article examines the constitutional principles of local self-government in Ukraine and in the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania). In spite of the fact, that there are various forms of government in the states, that influence local government in different ways, they have both common features and differences. The characteristic features of functioning of public administration and local self-government in Ukraine and in the Baltic countries are analyzed
