Consumer Satisfaction with the Food and Service Quality of Fast Food Restaurant in Ilocos Norte

Abstract

The sole purpose of this research is to determine Consumer Satisfaction with the Food and Service Quality of Fast-food Restaurants in Ilocos Norte. It aims to determine the personal profile of the respondents, the level of Consumer Satisfaction with the Food and Service Quality, the encountered issues, concerns, and problems by the consumers, and the significant relationship between the personal profile of the respondents to the consumer satisfaction on food quality. Moreover, it aims to analyze the significant relationship between the personal profile of the respondents the consumer satisfaction with service quality. The study is descriptive-correlational in nature and uses the Convenient Sampling method with 140 respondents who are consumers of the seven selected fast-food restaurants in Ilocos Norte, this research analyzed the level of consumer satisfaction and measured the data using a Likert Scale. The level of Consumer Satisfaction with the Food and Service Quality of Fast-Food Restaurants in Ilocos Norte was very satisfying; however, the respondents encountered issues, concerns, and problems. The study further showed a significant relationship between respondents’ profiles and food quality dimensions, except for age. Interestingly, gender has a significant relationship or connection with presentation, smell, and size. Regarding educational attainment, there is a very significant relationship between taste and very high significance with smell Also, income has a very significant relationship with the smell. Overall, it shows that Food Quality and Service Quality are inseparable and directly affect consumer satisfaction.
