CONTENT STRUCTURE AND CHARACTERISTICS OF METAPHORICAL FRAGMENT OF OIL AND GAS TERMINOLOGY SYSTEM

Abstract
The article presents a fragment of the metaphorical oil and gas terminology of the English language in the aspect of metaphorical modeling; its basic parameters, typical features of the English-speaking oil and gas terminology system are described. The article also discusses the metaphorical models that make up the fragment of the oil and gas terminology system of the English language, the characteristic features of the identified models, concludes the specificity of the cognitive process of metaphorization.
