Convergence of concepts in discourse

Abstract
The article deals with the theory of the definition of the adjacency of the concepts within the framework of discourse in native and foreign linguistics. The main characteristics of institutional and professional discourse are generalized. The correlation between the concepts of «institutional discourse», «professional discourse», «subdiscourse», «the discourse of the social institute», «discourse in the workplace» and the criteria for the interaction of these concepts in linguistics are analyzed.
