The availability of historical and religious aspects of the dual number in Arabic and English languages. The reason of its disappearance

Abstract
The article describes the importance of the dual number category in the development of Arabic and Russian languages. The question about the cause of the disappearance of entire grammatical categories is considered in accordance with the development of present level of language. It should be also mentioned that the grammatical category of number associated with the category of gender and animate objects category, which once again confirms that the Arabic language the preservation of dual number category is provided by religion and mentality of people.
