Archetype earth as a defining essence of Ukrainian mentality in the literary works by Olexander Dovzhenko

Abstract
The article deals with the ethno-cultural archetypal image of mother-earth as an element of the characteristics of the space of Ukraine, which forms the mega-image of the country, its national mentality in the language of the writer’s works. The researcher carries out an analysis of verbal means artistically representing this image in the literary works by O. Dovzhenko. The actual study material is the language of cinematic novellas «Earth», «The Charmed Desna, «The Novel of Fiery Years».
