Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of linguistic means when communicating on the Internet Russian-speaking users. Features of such communication, in particular network etiquette, English language Internet language, abbreviation, neglect of punctuation marks and a large letter, denial of literary norms, «twisting» of words, writing hashtags, technical errors associated with the use of the T9 system, Internet slang, the use of emoticons , stickers, GIF-images, a form of communication – written.
