Journal Title: Біль. Суглоби. Хребет - Year 2013, Vol 3, Issue 11

Abstract

In rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, Cu-Zn-microelementosis develops, which is involved in the pathogenesis of diseases. Concentration of these microelements in the blood has an impact on the prevalence, stage and severity of the pathological process, influencing the development of intra-articular calcifications, the severity of digital arteritis, pathology of peripheral nervous system, diastolic dysfunction of the left ventricle of the heart, and by the levels of cupremia and zincemia we can assess the nature of the clinical course of pathological process. Every second patient with psoriasis has increased levels of Cu in the blood, and with age the content of Zn in them reduces, which is determined by the prevalence of articular syndrome and amount of Cu in the hair depends on the nature of the articular syndrome, degree of joint narrowing, subchondral sclerosis and cysts in the bone.
