Corporality poetics in Tan Twan Eng’s novel The Gift of Rain

Abstract
The article critically examines the poetics of corporality, which is realized on the narrative level of the novel. Spatial, ideological and perceptual aspects of the narrator’s “point of view” are determined by the special Far Eastern epistemology, which is based on the idea of human body and Universe harmony.
