Correction of Vitamin D Deficiency with High Doses of Cholecalciferol
Journal Title: Біль. Суглоби. Хребет - Year 2016, Vol 3, Issue 23
Abstract
Currently, due to the high prevalence of vitamin D deficiency, there are increasingly used bolus schemes with administration of high doses of vitamin D in different modes. The article substantiates the use of high vitamin D doses, addresses the issues of hypervitaminosis D and vitamin D hypersensitivity, presents an analysis of published data on the efficacy of using vitamin D preparations at a dose of 50,000 IU in certain somatic diseases, as well as the results of own experimental studies of the effect of high doses of vitamin D on the parameters of bone tissue in senile rats with systemic osteoporosis and its complications.
