Cracteristics of the criminal analysis with taking into consideration the practice of its implementation in operative and search activities of the State border guard service of Ukraine

Abstract
In the article the notion and types of criminal analysis; the essence of operative and strategic criminal analysis with taking into consideration the practice of their implementation in operative and search activities of the State border guard service of Ukraine were characterized. It’s emphasized that criminal analysis includes the implementation of the system of logics methods, information search and usage of present information data basis with the aim of detecting and establishment of internal regularities in connections of objects and events in the sphere of unlawful activities for their visualization using different kinds of analytical software ІBM i2: Analyst’s Notebook, іBase and other accessible to everyone computer programs. System of criminal analysis is characterized by the same analytical procedures, results of criminal analysis; conventional symbols of visual results presentation. It is a peculiar international language of criminal events interpreting by analytics in the whole world; it creates the conditions for improving the cooperation of national and international public order bodies, additional possibilities in the sphere of combating criminality in Ukraine. Thereby the active Law of Ukraine «About operative and search activity» performing of analysis and information and analytical activity by operative units isn’t created it is suggested to introduce amendments to this Law as for giving them the right «to perform criminal analysis and use its results».
