Abstract
The article reveals the essence of such concepts as "intelligence", "educational environment" in the researches of foreign and domestic scientists. The definition of the "intellectual and creative educational envi- ronment" as a pedagogical condition for the formation of methodical competence of future elementary school teachers in the process of studying the natural science disciplines has been elaborated. The approaches that are most effective for the creation of the intellectual and creative educational environment in the process of studying the natural science disciplines have been defined and characterized in the article.
