CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS ON NEWLY OPENED OR FOR EXCEPTIONAL REASONS: SOME QUESTIONS

Abstract
The article explored some issues of criminal proceedings on newly discovered or exceptional circumstances. It is concluded that this institution in Ukraine is imperfect because it does not fully take into account the essential rights of interested persons established by international legal acts with regard to review of court decisions that have entered into force. Some proposals have been made to improve the criminal procedural legislation of Ukraine and the practice of its application.
