C.S. PIERCE’S “ARISTOTELICITY” AS A PROPERTY OF MIND

Abstract
The article considers a concept of “aristotelianity” constructed by Charles Sanders Peirce for a problem of continuum in his research devoted to the philosophy of continuum and philosophy of mind. The author of the article makes an attempt to use the concept of “aristotelianity” in the quality of its exposition as one of the consciousness properties, in particular – element that ensures duration and continuity of stream of consciousness, in which each sensation regardless of its shape or intensity is understood as a number of relations, which are constantly changing and develop into each other. Aristotelianity of mind, in turn, ensures a unity of these relations, their transitivity and coextensivity for existence of consciousness, staying as a sort of “focal point” of oneness of perception and thought.
