CURRENCY RISK MANAGEMENT IN PROJECT FINANCING

Abstract
The article examines the peculiarities of the use of some financial instruments to manage foreign exchange risks of project financing in Ukraine in order to reduce investment risks throughout the life cycle of an investment project. It is determined that the most acceptable for hedging currency risks can be the use of forward agreements, currency swaps and over-the-counter currency options. The expediency of granting to banks of opportunity to attract from nonresidents "synthetic" credits in national currency is proved, and payments between the creditor and the borrower to carry out in foreign currency that will promote improvement of the investment climate and conditions of financing of investment projects.
