CURRENT CHALLENGES IN IMPLEMENTATION OF INTERNATIONALIZATION AND GLOBALIZATION IN K-12 EDUCATION SYSTEM

Abstract

Abstract Over the last decades, education has gone through rapid social, economic, and political changes due to the process of modernization and socio-economic factors. The two factors of evolution in education are internationalization and globalization, on which studies demonstrate different attitudes in explaining these concepts. This research paper is to address the concepts how the integrity of education on a global scale can be achieved by bringing different educational systems worldwide together. Internationalization will be discussed in the context of the global market and social gap. Referring to the analysis in today’s existing idea of internationalization, it is vital to determine how the ideas of internationalization can be addressed in the home country and still prepare the students to smoothly blend themselves in a globalization context. Moreover, the research will also highlight the policy of internationalism and globalization from the educational curriculum perspective and certain suggestions are to be offered to grow a borderless academic world. The research is to also approach the ways of identifying the problems and to address the issues in light of the existing challenges. The data collection methods were document analysis and interviews, and surveys. In this study the authors have interviewed foreign experts, teachers, and administration members.
