CURRENT STATE OF RURAL TERRITORIES DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article considers the current state of development of rural areas in Ukraine. The main social and economic problems of rural areas are identified: depletion of rural settlements, unemployment, low employment rates, increase of the number of rural inhabitants living under the poverty line, decline of social and industrial infrastructure of the village.
