CURRENT STATUS AND DEVELOPMENT TRENDS IN THE SPHERES OF PRODUCTION, PROCESSING AND MARKETING OF GRAIN: UKRAINIAN AND GLOBAL CONTEXT

Abstract
The article studies the modern state and tendencies of development of sphere of production, processing and marketing of grain in Ukraine and the world. The value of the grain industry to the national economy is to ensure food security, maintain its priority position on the world stage. It is established that the grain market can serve as a model of development for other markets for agricultural products, raw materials and food. It is proved that the global market conditions of the grain is characterized by indicators of the functioning of the market and reflects supply and demand, sales volumes, market activity for buyers and sellers. Identified key success factors of Ukraine as a leading international supplier of grain. Obstacles for further growth of production and export of grain. It is proved that the solution to the problem of increase of efficiency of grain production is inextricably linked to the problem of increasing the efficiency of functioning of the market of flour.
