Current status of industrial enterprises’ advanced technology products commercialization

Abstract
In the conditions of globalization, restructuring of the national economy, as well as the strengthening of integration processes, the level of competitiveness of industrial enterprises is determined by many factors. The crucial one is an innovative activity. Owing to innovations an economic agent has the ability to strengthen its market positions, improve its economic efficiency, and create greater value added. It is important at the same time for the results of the innovation activity to be as much as possible directed at the production and economic activity of industrial enterprises. The results have to cause the supply of new advanced technology products and services for the market and commercialization enables it. The effectiveness of its implementation enables the successful introduction of innovations to the market, as well as the obtaining of sustainable competitive advantages. Unfortunately, official statistical data that could serve as the basis for a thorough analysis of the commercialization state of high-tech products in Ukraine are very limited. Thus, the accumulation and processing of this information are necessary to identify the line of improving the commercialization forms of high-tech products and the development of specific methods, models, and mechanisms for solving the existing problems in this area. The article considers the current commercialization state of advanced technology products of industrial enterprises. It has been established that the level of innovations’ protection by documents in Ukraine is not high, despite the positive changes in the innovative activity of domestic companies. In the analyzed context the dynamics of innovation activity of Ukrainian industrial enterprises was diagnosed, the structure of their expenses on innovation activities was considered, the distribution of advanced technologies by types of technologies and the share of protection documents was analyzed, the experience of acquirement of technologies from abroad by Ukrainian companies was studied. The ways of intensification of high-tech products commercialization industrial enterprises in Ukraine are singled out. Using expert research tools, the clarity of the processes of high-tech products commercialization to the employees of industrial enterprises was defined, the availability of effective tools for such commercialization in the Ukrainian business was identified, the level of competence of the personnel in this sphere was determined as sufficient, sources of funding commercialization processes of advanced technology products and a number of other parameters were set up. The results of the generalization of the state and trends of high-tech products commercialization at industrial enterprises in Ukraine showed the problematic nature of this sphere. It is explained not only by the diagnosis of official statistical information but also by the results of an expert survey of economic agents’ managers.
