Abstract
The article describes the basic trends of social and economic development of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership countries. It was revealed the relationship of external and internal factors of development of the region and the level of social development of countries. It has analyzed the index of social progress of EuroMediterranean countries, identified the main factors causing its formation. Key words:
