Abstract
The aim of this paper is to diagnose the presence of contemporary Russian prose in Poland. The starting point for the discussion is related to articles depicting present tendencies and the directions the latest Russian literature heads for. On the basis of an overview of Polish translations of texts authored by Russian writers it may be concluded that Polish readers have an opportunity to follow the most contemporary trends in the development of Russian literature.
