Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of genre precondition of Vasyl Stefanyk's novelistc word which arises as an organic linguoartistic segment of modern author's language thinking. It is pointed out that a novelist who is limited by the amount of genre discourse finds specific means of expressing content form, strengthens the role of a detail, a little expressed part of speech or even an insignificant grammar form and lifts them to the level of symbol, leitmotif, condensed imaginative emotional "knot" of a narrative.
