Abstract
The article deals with the circumstances and conditions of assessment of witness estimony by the court in criminal proceedings taken into account the criterion of credibility. The author conductes a comparative study of legal regulations governing this matter in the Ukraine and the United States. The positive experience of the USA was revealed.
