ДЕФІНІЦІЇ ПОНЯТТЯ «ІННОВАЦІЙНИЙ ПОТЕНЦІАЛ»

Abstract
The high level of innovation potential of the enterprise is evidence of its successful and efficient functioning. Enterprises need to look for the ways of the development and effective use of the innovative potential. The aim of the article is to investigate the essence of innovative potential and to find out the value of innovative potential for the development of competitiveness and effective activity of the enterprise in the modern dynamic economic conditions. The different theoretical and methodical approaches to the interpretation of the concept of the innovative potential are identified in this article. The basic scientific approaches to its interpretation are defined, namely: resourceful, potential and effective. On the ground of the research proposed an own approach to understanding the essence of the innovative potential. The innovative potential is a set of all resources of the enterprise, which, under the influence of certain internal and external factors, can combine and create innovations with the purpose of their introduction into the activity of the enterprise in order to increase its competitiveness and economic efficiency. The availability of a high level of the innovative potential allows to develop a new directions of the innovation activity and implement a new products at the enterprise.
