Abstract
The concepts of "security", "provision", "ensurance of security", "ensurance of security of the individual who carries out special assignment" were considered in this article. There were analyzed different approaches of the definition of these concepts. There was proposed the concept of "the security of the individual who carries out special assignment to expose criminal activities of the organized group or criminal organization".
