PUBLIC INFORMATION IN THE CONTEXT OF PUBLIC CONTROL ACTIVITIES OF STATE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of problems of access to public information in the context of citizens' control over the activities of the state. It was found out that the possibility of citizens 'access to public information about the activities of government bodies is one of the main means of exercising citizens' control over the activities of power structures. An important place, in the designated processes, is occupied by the mass media. In the context of this, the issues of forming an information culture among the representatives of power remain topical. The need to improve the mechanism of legal access to public information was noted.
