The study period is 2002–2016. The analysis was conducted at district level. A comparative and descriptive method was used and a time series analysis was carried out. The results were presented in graphic form. The research revealed a dynamic increase in woodland area reallocated for non-forest uses in local land use plans. However, only a small proportion of this land is subsequently excluded from production. The Mazowieckie voivodeship ranks third in the country in the area of forest land excluded from production.
